Demi Lovato no longer stars on the Disney Channel's Sonny with a Chance, but at least she can celebrate the fact that she went out on a high note. The talented singer-songwriter took home an ALMA Award on Saturday night for Favorite Comedy Actress, TV.
Soon after her win, Lovato—who was outfitted in a gorgeous gown by Maria Lucia Hohan—tweeted, "YAYYYY!!!! I can't believe it!!! Thank you guys so much!!!!! #ALMAwards."
Lovato switched into a cherry red gown to perform her hit ballad "Skyscraper." The awards show's co-host Eva Longoria told reporters last week that Lovato would be singing part of the song in Spanish. We'll have to wait until the show airs September 16 on NBC to see how the bilingual version of "Skyscraper" turned out!
